RECOMMENDATIONS

Working in close collaboration with the parents, we have Weekly Speaking hours as well as Parent Teacher Meeting on specified days. Parents are requested not to disturb classroom teaching on any other day. Only in case of emergency, the parents may meet the teachers with the prior written permission of the Principal. Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities in enforcing punctuality, regularity and discipline, by seeing that their children prepare their lessons and by taking an active and helpful interest in the activities of their ward in the school.
Parents are informed that occasional reports from teachers are entered in the school diaries. They are expected to sign them as proof that they have read them. They shall ensure that the students attend the special classes organized by the school during breaks, summer and winter vacations incurring additional expenditure by the school in the interest of the students. Attendance to such classes is compulsory.

Parents are, particularly, expected to sign the Progress Reports and any other similar document, when required. Failure to do so may put their children to great inconvenience. They should also note the attendance record.

Normally more than three days leaves are not granted in continuation. If a pupil is likely to be absent for a long period on medical ground the Principal must be informed at the earliest.

If your child is suffering from any infectious disease, you are advised to keep him/her at home. On no account should the child/children attend school until the danger of infection has passed.

Private tuitions are not encouraged. School Teachers shall not be engaged as Private Tutors.

Parents and guardians are specially required to notify the school of any change in address or telephone number at the earliest.

Parents should not forget to enter the specimen signature in the school diary which may be referred to, if necessary.

Parents or guardians are not allowed to consult teachers during school hours without the prior permission of the Principal. The members of the staff must be consulted only when not engaged in class work.

On wet or stormy days, the school will remain open. Parents must provide the children with water-proofs or umbrellas during the rainy season. The school disclaims responsibility for children who leave the school without the permission of the Principal.

Although the school takes all normal precautions, it does not take any responsibility for accidents

Chronic illness or frequent medical leave will be discussed with the parents as it may affect the student’s assessment.

Habitual disobedience, stealing, objectionable moral influence, in excusable absence, call for strict disciplinary measures and in some cases dismissal may be the only proper solution

The school does not accept responsibility for the loss of books, pen, money, watches and so on, as each student is responsible for his / her belonging. He / she are advised to bring class-work and homework timely. Assessment is made out of ten marks according to the performance and credit is given to the students once with the Half-yearly and finally with the Annual assessment of the child’s performance. Parents’ co-operation is necessary to ensure that their wards work diligently to get full credit of these marks for their own benefit.

Carrying Mobile phones or dummy gadgets etc. by students is banned in the school premises. Driving scooters, motorcycles and any other type of automobiles shall be viewed seriously and it is also treated as an offence by the Police Authorities. It is also prohibited as per the order of DM, Dehradun. Any act of violation to the above may lead to straight away expulsion of the student from the school without further reference to the parents.

IN ALL MATTERS PERTAINING TO ADMISSION, STUDIES, PROMOTION, DISCIPLINE, BEHAVIOUR AND WELFARE OF THE STUDENT, THE PRINCIPAL’S DECISION IS FINAL AND BINDING ON ALL STUDENTS/PARENTS/GUARDIANS.
